Krista Wolfe went to a regular eye doctor’s appointment when she was 7 yrs old. The doctor noticed that her optic nerves were swollen and ordered an MRI. She was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma and underwent surgical removal of the tumor on November 12, 2003. She underwent 33 radiation treatments and chemotherapy for a year. . . The cancer came back with a vengeance with three tumors in the brain and numerous areas on the spinal column found on a routine follow-up MRI on May 22, 2006. Krista fought this cancer with much courage and strength and did so gracefully. She was such a blessing and taught us so much about faith, love and life. She loved school, reading, writing, girl scouts, and spending time with her family, friends and pets. She left this earth to be with Jesus on July 18, 2007 at age 11.
